About the event

Ukraine House Japan is pleased to announce the opening of a One-year Ukrainian Vytynanka Course, beginning in September 2026.

The course has been developed under the artistic guidance of Lidiia Solodar, a Ukrainian artist, art educator, and member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. All designs and projects have been specially created by Lidiia Solodar for this program.

The classes in Japan will be led by Inna Ilina, following Lidiia Solodar's original curriculum and designs.

Throughout the year, participants will gradually learn the traditional techniques, symbolism, and composition of Ukrainian paper-cut art while creating their own collection of works.

At the end of the course, participants will present their creations at a final exhibition. Everyone who completes the full yearly program and participates in the exhibition will receive a Course Completion Certificate.
