About the event
Representing the Ukrainian Cultural Center Ukraine House Japan, cultural consultant Mariya Chechotkina will lead a special hands-on cooking workshop at Kotolab Asagaya. In this event, she will introduce traditional Ukrainian dishes typically enjoyed during the summer season.
The main feature will be Kholodnyk — a chilled beet soup rich in color and flavor, served with chicken, boiled eggs, and fresh vegetables. In addition, participants will enjoy demonstrations of baked eggplant boats filled with vegetables and cheese, as well as a classic apple-based Ukrainian dessert.
Mariya, who is fluent in Japanese and well-versed in intercultural communication, will also share insights into Ukrainian food culture and everyday life. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore both the taste and spirit of Ukraine in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
We invite you to join us for this culinary and cultural experience that promises to delight all the senses.
