A wonderful beginning to the Ukrainian Film Festival in Minato!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming many honoured guests and visitors to our opening day.
Thank you to every person who made time to join us, explore Ukraine through film and discover more about our culture.
Together—the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan, SWUJ, curator Daria Panchuk and Ukraine House Japan—we share a commitment to bringing Ukrainian cinema and culture closer to people in Japan. It was a joy to see this shared effort come to life with you.
Your presence, curiosity and warm support made the day special. Through films and conversations, we had the opportunity to share stories, learn about one another and strengthen the connections between Ukraine and Japan.
Behind every film are people, experiences and voices we want the world to hear. Thank you for giving them your time and attention.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to the filmmakers, speakers, volunteers and everyone who helped make this opening day possible. We have much to celebrate together! 💙💛
