Kyiv was the primary target.
In a single night, russia launched more than 70 missiles of various types, nearly half of them ballistic, along with approximately 500 attack drones, including jet-powered Shahed drones.
The missiles and drones struck residential buildings, an emergency medical station, a research institute, a hotel, and businesses. The attacks also affected the Kharkiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Cherkasy regions.
As of July 3, emergency responders continue clearing the rubble and searching for survivors. The death toll has risen to 30, with more than 90 people injured. Behind every number is a human life, a grieving family, and immeasurable pain.
Ukraine continues to defend itself, and effective air defense remains a matter of life and death. Every modern air defense system, every interceptor missile, and every decision by Ukraine's partners helps save civilian lives.
