Easter Greetings

05/04/26, 03:00

On this sacred day, we extend our heartfelt greetings to all who celebrate Easter on April 5th.

May this time of renewal bring light, peace, and quiet strength to your hearts and homes. May hope be restored, and may kindness and faith guide each step forward.

With deep gratitude, we would also like to share a moment from our recent activities.

On March 29th, Ukraine House Japan had the honor of being invited to conduct a pysanky workshop at Kichijoji Church, The United Church of Christ in Japan (日本基督教団 吉祥寺教会). This opportunity became possible thanks to the kind support and introduction of Ms. Miwako Aizawa Lee and Professor Chou of Aoyama University to Pastor Yoshioka Yasuko-sama.

The workshop unfolded beautifully. The space of the church, filled with quietness and calm, created a truly special atmosphere — comfortable, sincere, and warmly embraced by the heartfelt hospitality of Pastors Yoshioka, a husband-and-wife pastoral team.

In this setting, each participant was able to engage deeply with the art of pysanky, creating works that carried both tradition and personal meaning.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude for the donations kindly offered by the participants in support of Ukraine House Japan. Your generosity is deeply appreciated and contributes directly to the continuation of our cultural and educational activities.

We are sincerely grateful for this experience, for the trust extended to us, and for the opportunity to share Ukrainian cultural heritage in such a thoughtful and welcoming environment.

Wishing everyone a peaceful and meaningful Easter.
