Hosei University’s Diversity Weeks

18/11/25, 03:00

As part of Hosei University’s Diversity Weeks, UHJ and the Diversity Committee organized several cultural events.

This cooperation became possible thanks to Anastasiya Doroshina, a PhD student at Hosei University and a Japanese culture consultant at UHJ, whose initiative and support opened this opportunity. We also sincerely thank the Diversity Committee of Hosei University for their warm support and cooperation in realizing these events.

Today’s program was the first, and we were happy to introduce Ukrainian culture and history to the university community.

We hosted an inspiring Ukrainian pysanka (Easter egg) workshop led by Tetiana Solotska.
Participants created their own protective pysanky and learned about the traditional symbols that represent wishes for happiness, health, and protection.

We also held two exhibitions:

Photo exhibition by Kateryna Doroshyna — “Fragments of Existence: A Chronicle of the Ukrainian Fight for Freedom”
